Battery powered, contemporary, black aluminium lantern with built-in flickering candle with wick and timer function. The flickering flame effect makes this candle as true to life as an outdoor candle can be without being blown out in the wind.
Lanterns are a great finishing touch to make garden or outdoor tables feel instantly homely and warm. This lantern is powered by 2 x D batteries (not included) and with a 6 hour timer for prolonged battery life, good quality D batteries can last up to an impressive 3,000 hours. If used for six hours, every day, this would equate to up to a year and a half!
The intelligent light sensor, located next to the On/Off switch, automatically illuminates the LED candle once it detects that dusk has fallen. The timer is activated at this point, keeping the lantern lit for 6 hours. It will then turn off for 18 hours, before turning back on at the same time the next day. The lovely, flickering amber LED within the candle gently projects an enticing glow out from the real glass panels and out into the surrounding area.
The battery compartment is located within the top of the lantern, simply unscrew to remove the roof, place in the batteries and replace the lid, tightly securing the screws back into position.
