Are connectable lights expensive to run?
Connectable lights use LED technology which is very efficient. Decorative lighting is generally not as bright as more functional lighting, which also reduces the amount of electricity it uses. Our tool can tell you exactly how much electricity a set of lights uses, but a single set of lights will be pennies per month rather than pounds, and even a large domestic display would only be a few pounds a month if used for 6 hours a day.
Do connectable lights include the connectors?
Yes, a male and female connection is built into the lights. At one end the lights will connect to the power supply which then plugs into the wall, battery box or solar panel and the other end will plug into the next set of lights – or can be secured with the attached rubber seal.
Why is the power plug separate?
Connectable lights are designed so that you can continue to add more lights over time, without needing to purchase additional plugs. For this reason, the plug isn't included as not all customers require one. This saves you money, as you're not paying extra for something you don't need.
What's the difference between ConnectGo® and ConnectPro®?
Our ConnectPro® system is available in a selection of garden centres in England. We advise contacting your chosen garden centre first and enquiring into availability. If the garden centre doesn’t stock our ConnectPro® system, you can purchase from our website directly for a smooth order and delivery.
